PSPF COMMEMORATES 2024 INTERNATIONAL WOMENS DAY.

On 8^th March 2024, the Public Service Pensions Fund (PSPF) joined the Global Community in commemorating International Women’s Day under the theme “Invest in Women and Girls, Accelerate Progress”.

Republican Vice President, Mutale W.K Nalumango graced the event in Lusaka held at the Lusaka Show Grounds while the main event was held in Livingstone and was graced by Republican President, Mr. Hakainde Hichilema.

The procession started with a march past from the University of Zambia to the Lusaka Show Grounds where speeches were delivered by various stakeholders.

In her key note address, the Republican Vice President said the theme of this year's commemoration focused on the cardinal role that investing in women and girls plays in promoting national development. 

International Women's Day is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women.
